The Smoothest baby shaveFeb 27, 2009 Works perfectly. This is only my 3rd in 20 years. Like velvet with ZERO razor burn. Understand this is to be used daily on stubble and will NOT remove 'bush'. Rated 10 STARS!!

What a Waste of Money!!!Jun 16, 2007 This item rated 1 star for two reasons. First, there isn't a starless option. Second, the product description is technically correct. The trimmer is very simmilar, if not the same as, the trimmers found in stores for $10-$15. I haven't bothered with the stencils yet...mostly because I can't immagine them working well. The powder is to be applied with a make-up brush that is included. I had to use one of my own that was no longer in active use. The brush they included was so poorly made (yes, made. I would use put together, but part of the problem with it was the fact that it wasn't actually but together. The parts were there, but I had to get them together and then hold them that way in order to use it.) that using mine was much easier. The actual S-yard Cleancut Model Es-412 indicates that when used properly it leaves only smooth skin. I must have used it wrong...I don't think so, but it's the only possible explanation for the poor job, right? My husband was not able to feel a difference between the side I used the trimmer and the Cleancut on and the side I only used the trimmer. I could, but it was a miniscule difference. The directions were vague and depended on figures to explain what was ment. Personnally, I don't do well with drawn directions, but these were the worst I've ever had to figure out. The directions were not hard, but the way they were presented made it hard. The next problem I ran into was the difficulty opening it up. I was unable, physically, to open the battery compartment. My husband did get it open, but was surprised that anything that wasn't water-proof would need that much power to open it. When I finished my test, I tried to open the top so I could clean inside, but gave up after a few tries. This product is too much work and too much money. Having used it, and ignoring all the reasons I feel they should pay people to use it, I think the price is about three times the value.
